Radical jewelry Makeover visited Kansas and Missouri in the RJM XXII installment. A donation drive was held August 26th- September 20th, 2024. A kick off/sorting party was held September 20-21, at Brick City Gallery in Springfield, Missouri.  Speakers included:

  • Susie Ganch and Kathleen Kennedy, RJM directors

  • Katy Jessee,  Digital Fashion and Merchandising

During the Donation Drive, we received over 112 donations!

An info session and donation sorting event happened on September 24 & 26 in the Chalmers Hall metal studios at Kansas University, while a Final Friday Donation Event was held on August 30 at Lawrence Art Center. 

The project culminated in two exhibitions of wearable creations at the Carolla Arts Exhibition Center at MSU from January 27 to February 21, 2025, and at the Edgar Heap of Birds Family Gallery in Chalmers Hall at KU from January 21 to 31, 2025.

The Radical Jewelry Makeover MSU exhibition comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude. It has been incredible to see the community engagement, excitement from students, and networking opportunities with local artists.
